To Start The Year. Week 1.

It is now 2013, a new year, full of exciting adventures. I am quite excited for this new year, and all of the new things it is going to bring. I am mostly excited for the different photography opportunities that will come with this year.

To start the year, i am going to start a Weekly Project. I tried doing a photo-a-day type thing, but that just turned out to be more work than i thought, so i am scaling it back a little bit. I am going to do one blog post per week, with numerous different photos of what went on that week. I am hoping to shoot for at least 7 photos a week, but might go overboard sometimes :)

With all that being said, Here We Go!

This is my nephew Zac, he is one of my favorite people ever. He got this awesome DJ piano thing for Christmas and loves to rock out.

I took this photo while hanging out with friends and playing one of the greatest video games ever.

And here is that game. Super Smash Bros. So many hours of fun.

This is Herburt. He is my friend Morgan's cat. He is elusive, and rarely seen, but i managed to snag a picture of him before he ran away.

Just a fun, semi-artsy shot of a Space Heater and some smoke.

The things you find in some people's garages.....

Just a little Hummingbird.

And a Butterfly!!

And here is where those little decals came from. My dad has an old knockoff guitar that has some cool decals.

Yes, Yes, i am a Canon Fanboy.

My incredible girlfriend gave me this little gem for Christmas, because I am in love with otters. They are the cutest animals on the planet, along with Pandas.

My parents live right by a lake, that I basically grew up on. It froze over the other day, and I ventured out onto it. There were some awesome frozen cracks and stuff.

As I went down to the lake, a neighbor mentioned that there had been a bunch of coyotes out on the lake earlier that day, so I kept an eye out, but only found these.

There you have it. My first Photo Blog Post of the new year! It included pictures from Christmas and the first week of new years, so the rest of the posts shouldn't be quite as long.
I thank all of you for your support and i truly hope that you enjoy checking out all my photos!

  1. The pic of your nephew is awesome! He's so intense.

Great pics. Have you though about scheduling posts? It might help spread content out.
